Lausanne Sport have started the league phase of this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League with back-to-back victories. They started with a 3-0 hammering of Icelandic champions Breidablik before they then edged past Maltese champions Hamrun Spartans by a goal to nil.
Omonia Nicosia will be hoping to continue the improvement of Cypriot club football. The capital city club have collected just a point from their opening two matches. They most recently eased to a comfortable 2-0 win against Paralimni to remain top-of-the-table in the Cypriot First Division.
