Latvia vs Croatia prediction

Consecutive 2-2 draws have left Croatia trailing Latvia by a point in Group A with the latter’s 4-0 victory over Georgia proving vital. In contrast, Croatia being held by Georgia has left them needing to beat the hosts if they are to make it through. Duje Kustura has scored at least once in both of Croatia’s group games so far, whilst Latvia proved themselves as defensively efficient against Georgia, despite being thrashed 5-0 last time out by France.

When taking into account the high stakes of this encounter, it would be no surprise if goals wound up being harder to come by. Of the four Group A fixtures played so far, three have seen under 4.5 goals scored and with that in mind, backing that outcome regardless of who comes out on top here appears a shrewd move.

Latvia vs Croatia tip: Under 4.5 total goals
