Key stats

  • Latvia are unbeaten in the previous 12 international matches between these teams (W8 D4).
  • Latvia have won only two of their last 11 World Cup qualifying matches (D3 L6).
  • Andorra have lost their last seven World Cup qualifying matches.

Latvia vs Andorra prediction

Latvia come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Albania in their most recent outing in Tirana during the September international break. The Latvians are now winless in their last five matches since defeating upcoming opponents Andorra by a goal to nil in Andorra la Valle back in March.

Andorra most recently shared a goalless draw with Estonia in an international friendly in Tallinn, which has continued the Andorrans low-scoring tendencies. They were very obdurate and solid against England at Villa Park last month, too, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat in Birmingham.

These are two sides that have a lack of quality and are naturally low-scoring and under 2.5 goals seems almost inevitable as they prepare to clash in Riga this weekend.

Latvia vs Andorra tip: Under 2.5 goals
