Larne vs Santa Clara prediction

Larne reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and they will be expected to be pushing for the 36-team phase once again. The Northern Irish side have made it through to this stage of the competition with a penalty shootout victory over Kosovan side Prishtina in the second qualifying round.

Portuguese sides can often underwhelm in Europe outside of the big three, and Santa Clara could fall into that trap in their first ever European campaign. Coming from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, they were beaten away from home by Varazdin, by turning things around in the second-leg and winning by two goals to nil.

Larne will likely struggle in attack this season, and Santa Clara are favourites, but it is expected to be a low-scoring encounter for this one in Northern Ireland.

Larne vs Santa Clara tip: Santa Clara to win & under 3.5 goals
