LAFC vs San Diego prediction
LAFC begin the weekend sitting second in the Western Conference but only below the Vancouver Whitecaps on goal difference. They come into this one on the back of a strong CONCACAF Leagues Cup league phase, which concluded with a penalty shootout victory against Queretaro.
San Diego finished at the top of the Western Conference last season but this time around, still under the management of Mikey Varas, they sit third-from-bottom, albeit did themselves enjoy a strong run of form in the CONCACAF Leagues Cup.
That form that they have shown may well help them here, although LAFC do have to remain favourites with home advantage at the BMO Stadium in LA.
