Kyrgyz Republic vs Qatar Prediction

The Kyrgyz Republic, formerly known as Kyrgyzstan, have struggled throughout the third round of qualification as they now take on a Qatari side looking to qualify for a FIFA World Cup for the first time ever after reaching the 2022 FIFA World Cup as hosts in the last tournament.

The home team come into this one on the back of having managed one win with six defeats in their opening seven matches. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 1-0 loss to Uzbekistan the other day with Said Datsiev sent off in the first-half before Khojiakbar Alijonov earned the Uzbeks all three points before the break.

The Qataris, now under the management of former Espanyol boss Luis Garcia, most recently hammered North Korea by five goals to one thanks to goals from Akram Afif, Ahmed Al Rawi, Ahmed Al Ganehi, Ahmed Alaaeldin as well as an own goal scored by Yu-Song Kim. They sit tucked inside the top four of Group A of the third round of AFC qualification.

Both Uzbekistan and Iran could qualify in this match day and that is only possible for the hosts if Qatar fail to win this one. Winning this one, though, is something that should happen for Qatar.
