In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie at the LNK Sporta Parks in the Latvian capital of Riga, Kuopion Palloseura pulled off a 2-1 win against Rigas Futbola Skola.
In that game, KuPS took a 14th minute lead via defensive midfielder Jaakko Oksanen, before they went 2-0 up around ten minutes or so later thanks to a strike from striker Mohamed Toure. RFS pulled themselves a goal back mid-way through the second-half thanks to a goal by substitute Barthelemy Diedhiou.
KuPS have performed well and better than expected in Europe, and a win here will confirm qualification for the league phase of a UEFA competition this season, so siding with them, especially at home, seems a good bet for this one.
