Kosovo performed well with four victories and two defeats, against Romania, in Group 2 of League C of the UEFA Nations League as they now take on an improving Iceland side.

Kosovo vs Iceland Prediction

In their first few years as a recognised UEFA and FIFA nation, Kosovo played a very attacking style of football and, whilst that remains the case, it has been a little more refined as they now take on an Iceland side that are beginning to properly rebuild themselves.

The Kosovans only lost to a dominant Romania side in their group in League C of the UEFA Nations League. They managed four victories in their other games with two wins each against Cyprus and Lithuania. They remained fairly attacking, too, with ten goals scored in the league phase, most recently edging past Lithuania by a goal to nil after going down to ten men.

With the emergence of the likes of Hakon Haraldsson and Albert Gudmundsson from Lille and Fiorentina respectively, the Icelanders have improved but they were drawn into a tough group in League B of the UEFA Nations League and they finished four points behind Turkey and five behind Wales, winning just two of their six group stage matches.

They were, though, the top scorers in that tie and that showed the level of their attacking play so, with Kosovo doing similar, both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one in Prishtina.

Kosovo vs Iceland Tip: Both teams to score
