Juventus preview: Struggling Old Lady

The pressure is mounting on Igor Tudor as Juventus come into this one on the back of a 1-0 loss to a struggling Lazio side at the Stadio Olimpico in which Toma Basic scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute.

The Bianconeri have slipped away from the top end of the table with that defeat in the capital city of Rome meaning that they are now winless in their last eight matches across all competitions.

Udinese preview: Back in the top-half

Udinese have moved into the top-half of the Serie A table ahead of the ninth match day of the campaign. The Friulians have been surprisingly steady under the ownership of the often chaotic Pozzo family.

The visitors come into this one on the back of a thrilling 3-2 victory over Lecce at the Bluenergy Stadium at the weekend, courtesy of goals from Jesper Karlstrom, Keinan Davis and Adam Buksa, in a game in which the 3-2 scoreline flattered Lecce.

Juventus team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for Juventus this weekend as injury prone centre-back Bremer is sidelined alongside fringe men such as Carlo Pinsoglio, Juan Cabal and Arkadiusz Milik.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Perin; Kalulu, Gatti, Kelly; Conceicao, Koopmeiners, Locatelli, McKennie, Cambiaso; David, Vlahovic

Unavailable: Pinsoglio (Injured), Bremer (Injured), Juan Cabal (Injured), Milik (Injured)

Questionable:

Udinese team news: No need to change

As is the case with Juve, Udinese have no fresh injury concerns for this week’s trip to Piedmont and so the visitors will be able to name an unchanged eleven for this one.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Okoye; Goglichidze, Kabasele, Solet; Zanoli, Ekkelenkamp, Karlstrom, Atta, Kamara; Davis, Zaniolo

Unavailable: Kristensen (Injured)

Questionable:

Juventus vs Udinese prediction

Juventus have badly struggled for goals. It had appeared as though Igor Tudor had been able to create more attacking intent with a thrilling 4-3 win over Inter in mid-September, but they have instead managed to score just five other goals in their other seven games. They face an Udinese side that will believe they can pose problems to a Juve side that are under pressure and siding with the visitors would appear a good bet for this one.

Juventus vs Udinese tip: Double chance – Udinese to win or draw
