Juventus preview: Spalletti against Napoli
Luciano Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in the 2023/24 campaign but he is now tasked with ensuring the Bianconeri can maintain a general improvement and push for the coattails of the Italian title race, albeit they have been frustratingly inconsistent.
For example, Juventus managed to ease to a comfortable and important 2-0 defeat of Benfica in the UEFA Champions League in midweek but that was just a few days after they suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Cagliari in Sardinia last weekend.
Napoli preview: Conte needs a big performance
Defending champions Napoli have been left immensely frustrated this season with lots of injuries and an inconsistency, perhaps brought about by Antonio Conte’s nemesis, European competitions, has held them back in the defence of their title.
The Partenopei come into this one on the back of being knocked out of the top 24 in the UEFA Champions League league phase as a result of a very frustrating 1-1 draw with Danish champions FC Copenhagen at the Parken Stadion the other day.

Napoli team news: Several issues
Napoli are dealing with several issues ahead of their trip to Turin this weekend as Alex Meret remains a doubt, while key man Kevin De Bruyne is out with a thigh injury.
Predicted XI (3-4-3): Milinkovic-Savic; Di Lorenzo, Beukema, Buongiorno; Mazzocchi, Lobotka, McTominay, Mathias Olivera; Politano, Hojlund, Lang

Juventus vs Napoli prediction
Napoli finish their UEFA Champions League campaign with the visit of Conte’s former club Chelsea to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and that is a very important game but his bread and butter is against another former club, Juventus, in Serie A. Luciano Spalletti’s Old Lady aren’t quite as fluent as he would want them to be and Napoli will be content to ensure they either simply avoid defeat or the clash is at least only decided by fine margins and so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected for this one in Piedmont
Juventus vs Napoli tip: Under 2.5 goals
