Juventus preview: Brilliant Bianconeri

Luciano Spalletti has done an excellent job since he replaced Igor Tudor in the autumn at Juventus. They have moved themselves into the top four and perhaps even onto the cusp of the Serie A title race.

However, the Old Lady did suffer a heavy loss in midweek as they were beaten 3-0 by Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia due to goals scored by Gianluca Scamacca, Nikola Krstovic and Mario Pasalic.

Lazio preview: Chaotic Lazio

Maurizio Sarri is trying to manage a difficult situation at the Stadio Olimpico with something of a crisis off the pitch as the Romans struggle to deal with the departures of plenty of key players and deal with what is a limited squad in Serie A.

They come into this one on the back of a much-needed and dramatic 3-2 defeat of Genoa, though, in the capital city, with midfielder Daniel Cataldi scoring a winning penalty deep in the tenth minute of second-half stoppage-time.

Juventus team news: Yildiz a doubt

Turkey international attacker Kenan Yildiz is a major doubt for this weekend due to a thigh issue, while fellow attacker Dusan Vlahovic is a confirmed injury absentee.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Bremer, Kelly, Cambiaso; Locatelli, Thuram; Conceicao, McKennie, Kostic; David

Unavailable: Vlahovic (Injured)

Questionable: Yildiz (Injured), Milik (Injured)

Lazio team news: Pellegrini suspended

Luca Pellegrini is missing through suspension for Lazio this weekend and they also have a few other key absentees such as Samuel Gigot, Manuel Lazzari and Mattia Zaccagni.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Mario Gila, Provstgaard, Tavares; Taylor, Cataldi, Basic; Isaksen, Pedro, Maldini

Unavailable: Gigot (Injured), Pellegrini (Suspended), Lazzari (Injured), Zaccagni (Injured)

Questionable: Patric (Injured), Romagnoli (Injured)

Juventus vs Lazio prediction

Juventus' Serie A form has been much better than the shakiness that they have shown in the cup as well as in the UEFA Champions League. The Bianconeri have suffered just one loss in their last nine matches in Italy's top-flight. Lazio will believe they pose a threat through the sheer unpredictability of their nature but a comfortable home win is to be expected for this in Piedmont.

Juventus vs Lazio tip: Juventus to win
