Juventus were humiliated in Istanbul last week and need to bounce back with the visit of Galatasaray to the Allianz Stadium in Turin, although they may not get that reaction.

Juventus preview: Woeful form

Last week, Juventus went to Turkey and took a 2-1 lead in the first-half at Rams Park, courtesy of a brace from Teun Koopmeiners before Galatasaray turned the game on its head in the second-half to run out as 5-2 winners.

That loss has been sandwiched between back-to-back losses in Serie A, too, with a controversial 3-2 loss to Internazionale in the Derby d’Italia before a 2-0 loss at home to Como in Piedmont at the weekend.

Galatasaray preview: Impressive Gala

Galatasaray are the dominant force in Turkish football and the big spending Turks have assembled an impressive squad that they will believe can and will be a match for most sides on their day in Europe, especially when at home.

They did succumb to a surprise 2-1 loss to Konyaspor at the Konya Buyuksehir Belediyesi Stadium at the weekend, closing the gap to two points at the top-of-the-table with unbeaten chasers Fenerbahce.

Juventus team news: Couple of suspensions

Juventus are without both Juan Cabal and Andrea Cambiaso due to suspension for this one, while Turkey international Kenan Yildiz, a key man for the Old Lady, is also now a doubt.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Gatti, Kelly, Kostic; Thuram, Locatelli, Koopmeiners; Conceicao, McKennie, Openda

Unavailable: Holm (Injured), Cabal (Suspended), Cambiaso (Suspended), Vlahovic (Injured), Milik (Injured)

Questionable: Bremer (Injured), Yildiz (Injured)

Galatasaray team news: Icardi injury

Gala have impressive depth to their star studded squad and that is handy because one of their stars, Mauro Icardi, has sustained a back injury and is unavailable.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Cakir; Sallai, Sanchez, Bardakci, Jakobs; Torreira, Sara; Yilmaz, Akgun, Lang; Osimhen

Unavailable: Icardi (Injured)

Questionable:

Juventus vs Galatasaray prediction

The style of football implemented by former Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti is proactive and has been effective, too, but their attacking mentality came undone in Turkey last week. Galatasaray head to Italy knowing that they can set up to hit on the counter-attack and there is an awareness that they can do that very effectively so despite the hosts’ need to get on the front foot, siding with the Turks once again would appear the way to go for this one.

Juventus vs Galatasaray Tip: Double chance – Galatasaray to win or draw
