Juventus preview: Top four Juve

Following the appointment of Luciano Spalletti a couple of months ago, Juventus have been much-improved of late as they sit tucked inside the top four, with their style of football also beginning to show major signs of improvement, too.

The Bianconeri come into this one on the back of an impressive 3-0 hammering of Sassuolo with an own goal before strikes from Fabio Miretti and Jonathan David. That means they are now unbeaten in their last six matches across all competitions.

Cremonese preview: Dipping Cremonese

Having gained promotion to the top-flight last season, Cremonese have performed quite well as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table with five victories, seven draws and seven defeats but they are without a win in over a month now.

Their winless run of form was extended to five matches at home to Cagliari the other day they gave up a 2-0 lead at home, after a brilliant star to the game, to the fellow mid-table outfit in Cremona in midweek, sharing a 2-2 draw.

Juventus team news: Kelly a doubt

Former Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly is a key doubt for the Old Lady this weekend with Francisco Conceicao also potentially unavailable for the hosts.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Bremer, Koopmeiners; McKennie, Thuram, Locatelli, Cambiaso; Miretti, Yildiz; David

Unavailable: Gatti (Injured), Rugani (Injured), Vlahovic (Injured), Milik (Injured)

Questionable: Kelly (Injured), Conceicao (Injured)

Cremonese team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for Cremonese to deal with in Turin and so they will be able to name an unchanged eleven for this one if they so choose.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Audero; Terracciano, Baschirotto, Bianchetti; Floriani Mussolini, Bondo, Payero, Pezzella; Bonazzoli, Vardy, Johnson

Unavailable: Collocolo (Injured)

Questionable:

Juventus vs Cremonese prediction

It was a brilliant start to the season for Cremonese, under the management of Serie A’s so-called ‘miracle worker’ Davide Nicola but the visitors have certainly fallen off of late. They face a Juventus side that are really beginning to find their feet under Spalletti as they continue to push up the table and, with their abundance of depth in the final third, a comfortable home win is to be expected for this one in the north of Italy.

Juventus vs Cremonese tip: Juventus to win -1 handicap
