Jonny Clayton has long been a consistent performer at the PDC World Darts Championship but he didn't even need to turn up to his scheduled second-round contest with Dom Taylor, with his opponent failing a drugs test prior to their match.
Clayton received a bye as a result, meaning he hasn't been in action since 15 December, when he defeated Adam Lipscombe 3-1 in relative comfort.
The fifth seed will certainly not have it easy against Niels Zonneveld though, with the Dutchman eliminating former world champion Michael Smith in the second round with the aid of a 94.52 average.
Zonneveld stated in the aftermath that it was the biggest win of his career, and he is bound to be feeling good about his game ahead of this third-round encounter.
