Jeffrey de Graaf vs Paul Lim prediction
For the first time since 2022, Paul Lim takes to the oche at the World Darts Championship and will hope to sprinkle some magic, although he’ll be up against it when taking into account the pedigree of his opponent. Jeffrey de Graaf reached the last 16 at Ally Pally last year and boasts an average of 90.38 in 2025 compared to Lim’s 85.03.
Lim is known for defying the odds, no one forgets his legendary nine darter in 1990, the first ever at a World Championship and his ability to remain calm under the most intense of pressure makes him a difficult opponent to put away, even if he is being outscored by his opponent. Don’t be surprised if a big checkout or two falls Lim’s way.
With that in mind, the Singapore Slinger is more than capable of taking at least a set from de Graaf, especially with the crowd behind him and making it difficult for the Dutch-born Swedish player. A shrewd play would be to back over 3.5 total sets.
Jeffrey de Graaf vs Paul Lim tip: Over 3.5 total sets
