Japan vs Sweden prediction

Whilst Sweden have already done enough to secure their place in the next round, they’ll want to keep on winning and maintain their momentum which has been built up over the past few games. They’ve conceded just two points so far, scoring a whopping 14 in the process and look very much like potential medallists moving forward.

Confidence has likely taken a hit when it comes to Japan following back-to-back defeats, most recently losing an extremely tight encounter with host-nation Italy. Conceding two first period goals without reply proved mortal for Japan, who fought back but couldn’t draw level, losing 2-3 in the end. Sweden are expected to outclass them over three periods and make it four wins in a row.
