Japan vs New Caledonia prediction

Japan came through a tough test against Morocco in their opening group game, winning 2-0 in Al Rayyan. They’ll be expected to find things easier against one of the outsiders in the competition. Just to reach this tournament was a fantastic achievement for New Caledonia, but the gulf between them and Portugal was deep and that was reflected in the result, a heavy 6-1 defeat.

Expect another long 90 minutes here for the New Caledonia players with Japan not expected to show any mercy. It would be no surprise to see Japan take control early on and not let go, dominating and wearing out New Caledonia. A bigger victory for Japan compared to their game vs Morocco is well worth backing.

Japan vs New Caledonia tip: Japan to win with -2 handicap
