Japan vs Brazil prediction

Japan have something of a ‘golden generation’ coming through as they seek to build on a round of 16 finish at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Blue Samurai were surprisingly beaten 2-0 by the United States last month and began the October international break with a 2-2 draw against Paraguay the other day.

Carlo Ancelotti has begun his reign in charge of Brazil without changing too much and the five-time world champions have remained unconvincing. However, the Selecao do come into this one on the back of an impressive 5-0 demolition of South Korea in Seoul the other day.

Brazil showed some cohesion, particularly on the counter attack, against the Koreans and this should be quite a fun and entertaining watch for the neutral this week.

Japan vs Brazil tip: Both teams to score
