Ivory Coast vs Switzerland prediction

Switzerland are one of four European competitors to have won this competition in the past having done so in 2009, ironically the last time they qualified for the tournament. The Swiss arrive in Qatar with pedigree and begin against African opposition in Ivory Coast, who were last on this stage back in 2013, the same they won the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

As you would expect in the opening game, neither will want to get off to a losing start which can always have an adverse effect on proceedings from an entertainment standpoint. It would be no surprise if the pair could not be separated and backing a draw is a play worth making.

Ivory Coast vs Switzerland tip: Draw
