Italy vs Portugal prediction

Portugal are out to cement their futsal dynasty and complete a historic European ‘three-peat’. Champions in each of the last two editions of this tournament, Portugal cruised through their qualification group with a 100% record, scoring at least three goals in all six of their games whilst also keeping two clean sheets, no mean feat when it comes to futsal.

Italy qualified through the play-offs via a dramatic penalty shootout triumph over Kazakhstan. If they are to succeed in the group stage, they’ll need Gabriel Motta to continue his rich vein of goalscoring form across qualifying, which saw him find the net seven times. But Portugal are a step above the Italians and that is expected to be reflected in the final score, so back them to extend their winning streak in this competition to 13 games, even with a small handicap.

Italy vs Portugal tip: Portugal to win with -0.5 handicap
