Italy vs Brazil prediction

Italy twice drew level with South Africa in York last weekend, but just came up short in a 29-24 defeat to the Springbok Women.

That defeat ended their hopes of reaching back-to-back Women’s Rugby World Cup quarter-finals, and they now have to dust themselves off and try and end their tournament on a positive note.

Brazil produced one of the moments of the World Cup so far when Bianca Silva crossed the line against France last weekend to score Brazil’s first ever try in the tournament.

They were handily defeated 84-5 by the European nation though, and the debutants know there is plenty of work to do in order for them to be competitive on the world stage.

After a frustrating World Cup campaign, Italy will look to take their frustrations out on Brazil, and should record a resounding victory in Northampton.
