Ireland vs Afghanistan prediction

Ireland let themselves down with a poor performance in the second ODI of this series. Bowled out for 207 chasing 300, it was one to forget for the Boys in Green, who will hope that a change in venue sparks a change in fortunes. Afghanistan were excellent and having Rashid Khan available following his time at the men’s Hundred served as a big boost.

The superstar spinner was at his brilliant best, taking six wickets and ripping apart the Irish batting unit. He was clearly a class above the opposition and has the ability to outsmart hitters even on surfaces that don’t suit his bowling. Players like Rashid are a far higher level than what Ireland has to offer and so backing him to once again dominate the hosts is a sensible move.

Ireland vs Afghanistan tip: Rashid Khan to take over 1.5 match wickets
