Ireland vs Afghanistan prediction

In June, Ireland pulled off a shock and dramatic 2-0 win against world champions India in a two-match T20I series. Since then, though, their coach Heinrich Malan has departed his role and returned to being in charges of the Central Districts in New Zealand.

Afghanistan played a three-match ODI series against the Indians just before that series in Ireland with India earning a comfortable white-wash with three hammerings of the regressing Afghans in the 50-over format.

Afghanistan have never been overly impressive at ODI cricket but they should still be much the better of the two sides over 50 overs in Northern Ireland here.
