Ipswich vs Sheffield Wednesday prediction

Ipswich Town have been inconsistent this season but they sit tucked inside the top six and the playoff places, albeit now as far as eight points adrift of Middlesbrough in second place as a result of the Tractor Boys suffering a frustrating 3-1 defeat to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last weekend.

They now face the crisis club of the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday, who are rock-bottom and on minus nine points, 29 adrift of safety with 26 games to go. The Owls come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Derby County in South Yorkshire on Monday night.

Sheffield Wednesday have been admirable at times this season but Ipswich are expected to cruise to a comfortable victory in East Anglia this weekend.

Ipswich vs Sheffield Wednesday tip: Ipswich to win -2 handicap
