Ipswich vs Bristol Rovers Prediction

Although Ipswich have found it tough going in the Premier League this season, they are performing the best out of the three promoted teams and have picked up some strong results of late, beating high-fliers Chelsea before drawing at Fulham.

It’s been a long time since the Tractor Boys experienced a memorable FA Cup run though; they have only once gone beyond the fourth round in the last 28 editions of the famous competition.

In his third game in charge of Bristol Rovers, Inigo Calderon claimed a much-needed win at Cambridge United last weekend, bringing to an end the club’s winless run that stretched back to November.

The Pirates – who last progressed beyond the FA Cup third round in 2007-08 – sit one place above the relegation zone in League One.

Both these sides are embroiled in a battle to stay in their respective divisions, but with Ipswich two tiers above the visitors, not to mention the fact that they have put in some excellent Premier League performances of late, you’d have to fancy them to record a comfortable victory at Portman Road.

Ipswich vs Bristol Rovers Tip: Double result – Ipswich / Ipswich
