Inter come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Torino at the Olimpico di Torino in Turin in Piedmont last weekend thanks to goals from fringe players Poland international Nicola Zalewski and Albania international midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

Lazio preview: Pushing for Europe

Lazio head into the final two matches of the 2024/25 Serie A campaign sitting just outside of the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots, behind Juventus, on goal difference, in what is Marco Baroni’s first season in charge of the Romans.

They come into this having most recently shared a 1-1 draw with the aforementioned Juve at the Stadio Olimpico in the capital city last weekend in a game in which Uruguay international defensive midfielder Matias Vecino notching a goal deep into second-half stoppage-time.

Inter Milan vs Lazio prediction

Inter will be able to return to their strongest eleven now after a full week off, another full week off coming and then a further full week after that before their crucial showdown with PSG. They welcome a Lazio side to San Siro that will believe they can snatch something but their performance level hasn’t quite matched up to the results that they have had of late and siding with Simone Inzaghi’s current side against his former side is the way to go for this one on the penultimate match day of the campaign.
