Inter Milan vs Juventus prediction

Cristian Chivu has done an excellent job in charge of Inter and that continued last weekend as they extended their lead at the top-of-the-table with a 5-0 demolition of Sassuolo. The concern for Inter has been their performances in the so-called ‘bigger games’, including a 4-3 loss to a then poor Juventus side in Turin in mid-September.

Juve have been massively improved since then, with the appointment of Luciano Spalletti, but a Coppa Italia quarter-final shellacking at the hands of Atalanta about ten days or so ago was followed by a very underwhelming 2-2 draw with a chaotic and frankly under par Lazio side at the Allianz Stadium last weekend.

Juventus will play on the potential weakness of Inter when it comes to the big moments, which was also a theme from last season, but the hosts still surely have to be sided with to at least avoid defeat at San Siro.
