Inter Miami vs Vancouver Whitecaps prediction

The first-leg of this CONCACAF Champions Cup semi-final tie saw the Vancouver Whitecaps defeat Inter Miami by two goals to nil at BC Place in a game in which Brian White and Sebastian Berhalter, son of Gregg, scored the goals in either half of the game.

Inter Miami come into this one on the back having their unbeaten start to the 2025 Major League Soccer season with a 4-3 defeat to Dallas at Chase Stadium in their most recent outing at the weekend. They were 1-0 down in that game before going 3-1 up in the second-half. The Canadians, on the other hand, cemented their place at the top of the Western Conference at the weekend with a comprehensive 3-1 defeat of Minnesota United away from home.

Inter Miami will have to take the game to Vancouver this week and they have the talent to do so with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez and, regardless of the result, it should be entertaining for the neutral.
