Hungary vs Sweden prediction

The Hungarians have qualified for each of the last three UEFA European Championships but haven’t qualified for a FIFA World Cup since the 1986 tournament. They were most recently humbled by Turkey during the March international break, suffering a 6-1 aggregate defeat to the Turks, suffering relegation from League A of the UEFA Nations League.

They now face a Sweden side that have a very exciting and emerging squad, chock full of talent such as Lucas Bergvall, Anthony Elanga, Dejan Kulusevski, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedes’ performances and results have also been improved recently, too, winning seven of their last eight matches.

These are probably two generally evenly matched sides but they are two teams trending in different directions so an entertaining Sweden win is to be anticipated this week.
