Hungary vs Poland prediction

Although Poland saw their 100% record in qualifying ruined by Slovakia in their final match, that should take nothing from how impressive they looked, topping Group 3 to earn a place in the main draw. Meanwhile, Hungary were runners-up in Group 4 and required a narrow two-legged play-off victory against Romania to make it here.

Poland boasts the more recent major tournament experience and that should count for a lot in a competition such as this, where a good start is absolutely pivotal for success. Their squad looks more ‘oven-ready’ for success compared to that of Hungary and with that in mind, back Poland to get off to a winning start is well worth considering.
