Hull vs Doncaster Prediction

Although results haven’t dramatically improved since he took over in early December, Hull City have shown plenty of fight under Ruben Selles, with their most recent outing seeing them score twice late on to claim a draw against Championship high-fliers Leeds.

Attentions now turn to the FA Cup, where the Tigers will aim to make it into the fourth round for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign.

Opponents Doncaster have made it through to the third round of the FA Cup for the first time in four years, with Grant McCann’s side having beaten both Barrow and Kettering Town, the victory against the latter coming courtesy of a brace from veteran striker Billy Sharp.

The Rovers are once again involved in the push for play-off spots in League Two, although clean sheets have been at a premium for them with no shut-outs to speak of in their last ten games in all competitions.

That defensive vulnerability is likely to be their undoing here, with Hull likely to have too much for the visitors in attack.

Hull vs Doncaster Tip: Hull to win & over 2.5 goals
