Hull vs Coventry prediction

With former Reading boss Ruben Selles in charge, Hull City have been much-improved of late with the Tigers trying to push themselves away from the bottom three and the relegation places. However, they backed up their 1-0 defeat of Sheffield Wednesday last weekend at Hillsborough by suffering a 1-0 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road in midweek a few days later.

Frank Lampard has also enjoyed an impressive time of it in charge of Coventry City as they begin the 42nd match day of the 2024/25 Championship campaign sitting tucked inside the top six and the playoff places. They scored a last-gasp winner via Coventry-born attacker Jamie Paterson at home to Portsmouth the other day, winning by a goal to nil in that game.

Hull have been able to make themselves more difficult to beat, whilst Coventry’s fluency first found under Lampard has perhaps subsided a tad and a low-scoring and tense affair is to be expected for a game with so much on it at the KCom Stadium.

Hull vs Coventry tip: Under 3.5 goals
