Hull KR vs Hull FC prediction
You could definitely argue that Hull FC are catching Hull KR at a bad time when considering how Willie Peters’ men demolished St. Helens last Friday. Hull KR’s offense finally clicked together after what had been an awfully slow start to the campaign as they racked up 52 points against the Saints, conceding just ten in the process. It’s also important to note that this was their very first game of the season to take place at Craven Park and that home advantage was clearly missed.
Back on their own patch for Good Friday, expected a fired-up Hull KR to be ready for another fight, this time against Hull FC, who are also coming off the back of a win, in their case at home to Catalans Dragons. That were their second straight Super League victory, although both have come at the MKM Stadium.
On the road, Hull FC have scored just 16 points across two matches in Super League, losing on both occasions against Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity respectively. They were also beaten on the road by Leigh Leopards in the Challenge Cup. Such poor away form cannot be ignored and when you also factor in how impressive Hull KR looked last time out, backing the hosts to triumph by a sizeable margin has to be favoured.
