Hull FC Team News: Lane back in the fold

After having missed an extended period of action with a broken arm, Jordan Lane is fit enough to be named in the Hull FC squad, so could be in line for a return to the field here. However, the hosts are without Ed Chamberlain due to injury.

Squad: Harvey Barron, Zak Hardaker, Tom Briscoe, Will Pryce, Aidan Sezer, Herman Ese’ese, Amir Bourouh, Jed Cartwright, Jordan Lane, John Asiata, Cade Cust, Yusuf Aydin, Jack Ashworth, Davy Litten, Will Gardiner, Lewis Martin, Logan Moy, Matty Laidlaw, Lloyd Kemp, Sam Eseh, Liam Watts

Leigh Leopards Team News: Still a couple of absentees

Leigh Leopards have named an unchanged squad for this encounter with no injured player being ready to return as of yet. This includes the likes of David Armstrong and Aaron Pene, who are nursing knee and back problems respectively.

Squad: Darnell McIntosh, Tesi Niu, Umyla Hanley, Josh Charnley, Gaz O’Brien, Lachlan Lam, Owen Trout, Edwin Ipape, Robbie Mulhern, Frankie Halton, Jack Hughes, Isaac Liu, Alec Tuitavake, Matt Davis, Keanan Brand, Ethan O’Neill, Andrew Badrock, Ben McNamara, Bailey Hodgson, AJ Towse, Joe Ofahengaue

Hull FC vs Leigh Leopards Prediction

Leigh Leopards saw their four-game winning streak come to an end last time out as an under-par performance led to them losing 14-22 at home to Leeds Rhinos, a frustrating result under the circumstances as they fight for position in Super League. Their quality and strength is evident and they’ll hope to demonstrate that against a Hull FC side who have struggled at home across the season.

Whilst Hull FC were 80-6 winners against Salford Red Devils last Sunday, the scratch squad fielded by Salford makes that score understandable. Prior to that result, they had been defeated by Huddersfield Giants which again is an example of their problems at home this campaign. Leigh Leopards are good enough to seize the opportunity, so consider backing them to do just that.
