Pep Guardiola has admitted that Man City will field a mixture of youth players and senior squad players away at Huddersfield, although that won’t stop them from being overwhelming favourites to get the better of the Terriers. However, the experience within this Huddersfield side shouldn’t be underestimated and they could make things very uncomfortable for the Premier League heavy-hitters.
Man City will dominate possession and show patience but they’ll need to be clinical when the chances come. They could also prove vulnerable on the counter-attack and this is where Huddersfield will likely look to strike against Guardiola’s men. Despite this, backing Man City to win is warranted but don’t expect a hammering.
