Huddersfield Giants vs York Knights prediction

Magic Weekend at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium gets underway with a clash between the bottom two clubs in the Super League as Huddersfield Giants take on York Knights.

The Giants continue to struggle and they are coming into this weekend off the back of their ninth successive loss. They went down 29-23 to Wakefield last time out but there were plenty of positive to take even in defeat as the performance was a marked improvement on recent weeks.

They take on the York Knights who come off a decent performance of their own as they bounced back from some heavy beatings to stun the Castleford Tigers on their own patch last week.

Given how poor the Giants have been and how the Knights have settled into life in the top flight, it is hard to understand the spread in this one.

The Knights will be buzzing to play at Magic Weekend for the first time and they will be fired up. Taking them with an 8.5 start is the way to go in this one.
