Hong Kong vs Cambodia prediction

Having home advantage immediately puts Hong Kong in a good spot heading into this final. They’ve been pretty much flawless across the tournament so far, winning both their group games against Laos and Brunei respectively, scoring six goals and not conceding a single one themselves. Whilst Cambodia should provide a stiffer challenge, Hong Kong have proven to be the benchmark.

Cambodia picked up four points to win their group, beating Myanmar with a 94th minute winner, before drawing 2-2 with Timor-Leste, Rafael Nieto scoring a brace. However, only picking up a draw against an opponent such as Timor-Leste doesn’t bode well for them when considering the quality of Hong Kong. Realistically, any outcome other than a Hong Kong win across 90 minutes would be surprising.
