Honduras vs El Salvador prediction

Honduras began the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage campaign with a 6-0 annihilation at the hands of Canada the other day. The Hondurans had headed into the tournament on the back of a five-match winning streak in qualification for this competition, as well as qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

El Salvador most recently shared a goalless draw with Curacao in their opening game of the tournament at PayPal Park in San Jose the other day. They are now unbeaten in their last five matches since suffering a 2-1 loss to Major League Soccer franchise Houston Dynamo in a friendly during the March international break.

Honduras need to bounce back and bounce back in quite a big way this week, however siding with El Salvador would still appear the way to go for this one.

Honduras vs El Salvador tip: Double chance – El Salvador to win or draw
