Holstein Kiel Team News: Skrzybski

Holstein Kiel do have a new and annoying injury concern with forward Steven Skrzybski being ruled out last weekend and the hosts also have a few other absentees for this one.

Patrick Erras remains unavailable due to a concussion sustained last month, whilst defensive duo Colin Kleine-Bekel and Marvin Schulz are sidelined for the hosts this week.

Borussia Dortmund Team News: Illness issues

Borussia Dortmund were without several key first-teamers due to illness at the weekend such as defensive duo Waldemar Anton and Nico Schlotterbeck as well as Emre Can.

As well as the illness doubts, Dortmund remain without another centre-back due to Niklas Sule’s injury, whilst Pascal Gross is missing through suspension once again.

Predicted XI (4-1-3-2): Kobel; Couto, Ryerson, Luhrs, Kabar; Nmecha; Adeyemi, Brandt, Bynoe-Gittens; Beier, Guirassy

Holstein Kiel vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction

Holstein Kiel have managed just two victories in their 16 Bundesliga matches since gaining automatic promotion as 2. Bundesliga runners’ up last season. They were competitive at SC Stadion at the weekend but eventually suffered a 3-2 loss to high-flying Freiburg. Borussia Dortmund are ravaged at the back and found themselves 3-1 down to defending champions Bayer Leverkusen inside 20 minutes at the weekend. They rallied and suffered a respectable 3-2 loss in the end. Dortmund are firm favourites for this one but it could once again be quite a high-scoring and entertaining affair in Kiel.

Holstein Kiel vs Borussia Dortmund Tip: Borussia Dortmund to win & over 2.5 goals
