Hoffenheim vs Union Berlin Prediction

Hoffenheim have been treading water of late, but so far remain above surface despite winning just one of their last nine league games. Games involving the hosts usually prove to be entertaining affairs with over 2.5 goals scored in each of their last six matches in all competitions and the same is expected here with them likely to see this is a very ‘winnable’ fixture.

Union Berlin know that defeat would see Hoffenheim draw level on points with them and having won just one of their last 14, confidence is most likely low amid the visiting camp right now. Although their goalless draw last time out against RB Leipzig at least represented progress from their point of view.

A more open contest is on the cards here though, with both teams hoping to take advantage of their opponents’ frailties and likely deploying attacking styles of play in which to do so. With that in mind, consider backing over 2.5 goals to be scored.

Hoffenheim vs Union Berlin Tip: Over 2.5 goals
