Hoffenheim didn’t play this weekend due to the snow forcing postponement but that shouldn’t be an issue here against Borussia Monchengladbach. After battling relegation previously, it’s been a different story this campaign and Christian Ilzer’s men are currently holding onto sixth-place and that final European spot.

After losing 2-0 away at Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim have responded well, winning against Hamburg at home before travelling to Stuttgart and coming away with a hugely respective goalless draw heading into the break.

Borussia Monchengladbach fans couldn’t have been happier with what they saw from the team in their first Bundesliga fixture of 2026.
