HJK come into this matchday five encounter with Molde needing to get a positive result if they are to have any chance of progressing to the knockout phase of the Conference League. The Finnish club have lost their last two matches without scoring and they simply have to get a result here if they are to keep their European campaign alive.

They meet Norwegian side Molde who are in virtually an identical situation. They won their first match 3-0 against Northern Irish side Larne but have since lost all three matches.

Both teams’ domestic leagues have finished and it may very well come down to which side handles the lack of activity the best. Molde have to be favoured with that in mind and they will be desperate to prolong this run in Europe. They will field their strongest available side – something they have not always done in this competition so far – and they should have the quality to get a much-needed three points.
