In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie, Arda Kardzhali and Finnish giants HJK Helsinki shared a goalless draw at Arena Arda in Bulgaria last week.
In the first qualifying round, HJK, who have been underperforming domestically for a couple of years, suffered a 4-0 loss to NSI Runavik in the Faroe Islands, before then managing to produce a 5-0 victory in the second-leg to progress to the second qualifying round. Arda, on the other hand, are playing in just their second ever European tie after a 6-0 aggregate loss to Hapoel Be’er Sheva at the same stage of this competition in 2021.
Arda have proven themselves to be stubborn, but HJK have proven themselves they can be dominant in Helsinki and a home win is to be expected for this second-leg.
