Hibernian vs Midtjylland prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League second qualifying round tie, Hibernian and Midtjylland shared a 1-1 draw at the MCH Arena in Denmark last week. Jamie McGrath gave Hibs a surprise 1-0 lead in that game before Midtjylland then equalised mid-way through the second-half via Aral Simsir.

Midtjylland have become famed for their development of young talent in recent years, but it does have to be said that right now appears to be a more fallow period for the Danes. Hibs will believe they can use their home advantage of Easter Road to inch closer towards UEFA competition league phase qualification.

The last two seasons have seen Hibs’ main rivals Hearts fall into the UEFA Europa Conference League without winning a European qualifier, but Hibs will believe they can do the same by winning a qualifier.

Hibernian vs Midtjylland tip: Double chance – Hibernian to win or draw
