The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League play-off round tie saw Hibernian and Gent share a goalless draw in Belgium last week.
Hibs will be very content with that result, given they had previously lost away from home against Malisheva and drawn against Shkendija in Europe so far this season. Low-scoring contests are a theme of Gent, though, with the Belgians having needed penalties to defeat LNZ Cherkasy after two goalless draws before a slender 2-1 aggregate defeat of Goteborg in the third qualifying round.
A low-scoring encounter seems almost inevitable once again for this one in Scotland with extra-time potentially beckoning in the Scottish capital city.
