In a fun first-leg in the Danish capital last week, Heidenheim came from behind to defeat Copenhagen by two goals to one as they continue to ignore their domestic underperformance.

Heidenheim vs Copenhagen Prediction

As mentioned, Heidenheim have struggled in the Bundesliga but they are performing well on the continent. They were 1-0 down at half-time at the Parken last week before second-half strikes from Thomas Keller and Tim Siersleben turned the game on its head.

They backed that up with another defeat in the Bundesliga as they suffered a 2-0 loss at home to European chasing Mainz at the weekend. That result means they have collected just four points from their last 17 in the league as they sit third-from-bottom in the Bundesliga promotion/relegation playoff place.

Copenhagen, on the other hand, sit at the top-of-the-table in the Danish Superliga with Thomas Delaney and Jordan Larsson giving the Danish giants a 2-1 win over Randers at the weekend. That was their first game back domestically after the Danish winter break, which began in mid-December.

Heidenheim have proven themselves to be generally weak and susceptible so Copenhagen will fancy their chances of taking the game to their opposition in this second-leg this week.
