Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs AEK Athens prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie at the OPAP Arena in the Greek capital of Athens, AEK Athens defeated Hapoel Be’er Sheva by a goal to nil last week. In what was a close contest, AEK edged past the Israelis, courtesy of a 50th minute winner scored by centre-back Filipe Relvas.

Hapoel Be’er Sheva were surprisingly beaten by Bulgarian side Levski Sofia on penalties in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League earlier this month. AEK Athens reached the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season before losing to Noah.

There is no home advantage for Hapoel Be’er Sheva, but they will fancy their chances of taking the game to a vulnerable AEK side in a potentially entertaining second-leg.
