They began the league phase of this campaign with a 1-0 loss to Jagiellonia Bialystok.
They now face a Lausanne Sport side that started the league phase with an impressive 3-0 hammering of Icelandic champions Breidablik in Switzerland a few weeks ago. They have struggled in the Swiss Super League, though, as they sit ninth with just two victories in their nine matches thus far.
Hamrun will be able to make it difficult for the hosts, especially with their home advantage, but Lausanne will be expected to come out on top in Malta this week.
