In the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round last week, Hammarby and Rosenborg shared a goalless draw at the Lerkendal Stadion in Norway, in what was a surprising result.

Rosenborg would have expected to push themselves into the league phase of this competition, but they now find themselves in a perilous position as they head away from home to Sweden to take on Hammarby this week. 

Hammarby managed to win by two goals to one away from home to beat Belgian side Charleroi in the previous round, whilst Rosenborg eased past Lithuanian side Banga by seven goals to nil on aggregate.

There is a strong likelihood that this is going to be a low-scoring encounter between two sides that have shown themselves to be evenly matched in the first-leg of this tie.
