Hajduk Split vs Dinamo City prediction

Hajduk Split come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Istra 1961 in their most recent outing in the Croatian top-flight at the weekend. They defeated Azeri Premier League side Zira n the second qualifying round of this competition, with a hard-fought 3-2 aggregate defeat last month.

They now face a Dinamo City side that began their return to European football, their first season in Europe in over 20 years, with a 3-2 aggregate defeat of Andorran side Atletic Club d’Escaldes last week. They were held to a 1-1 draw in the capital city of Albania, Tirana, a week after winning by two goals to one in the first-leg.

Hajduk Split will be expected to come out on top in this one, and they are the overwhelming favourites for the tie, especially their home leg in Croatia.
